Last updated: 10 August 2026
1. These terms
These terms govern your use of the Quickin website, applications and browser extensions (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Who we are
The Services are provided by Quickin Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 06567159, with its registered office at 13 Alexander Road, Birmingham, England, B27 6ER. You can contact us at info@quickin.co.uk.
3. Accounts and access
- You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity carried out under your account.
- Tell us promptly at info@quickin.co.uk if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services unlawfully, or to infringe anyone's rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services or related systems;
- interfere with, overload or disrupt the Services;
- reverse engineer, decompile or scrape the Services except to the extent the law does not allow that restriction;
- resell or redistribute the Services without our written permission;
- upload malicious code, or content you have no right to upload.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the data and content you put into the Services. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content only as needed to operate the Services for you. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.
6. Our intellectual property
The Services, including their software, designs, text and branding, belong to Quickin or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services in accordance with these terms.
7. Third-party services
The Services may interoperate with third-party services and platforms. We are not responsible for those services, their availability or their terms. Your use of them is governed by their own agreements with you.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, suspend or withdraw features. Where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
9. Research and development information
Information published about materials research, performance figures, test results and product development is provided for general information. It does not constitute a specification, a warranty of performance, or professional advice for any particular building or project. Always rely on current product documentation and appropriate professional judgement before specifying or installing any material.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Except as expressly stated in these terms, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties, including as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data, and our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100.
If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if continuing would create a security risk. Where practical we will give notice and an opportunity to put things right.
13. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
